I am finding that I feel more and more inflexible as time goes by and wanted to try something new. "Mamma Mia"! This was beginners. It just goes to show how inflexible I am. I did get through the 30 minutes, but was not able to do a lot of the poses properly. I am sure it was not a pretty sight to see. For one, I was too busy looking up at the TV to see how they were done and secondly, my body just wouldn't cooperate. I am going to try to do this DVD at least twice a week.
For those of you interested, I have not stepped on the scale this week and tomorrow morning is my WW weigh in. I will talk more about this in my next post.

Yoga is harder than it looks. Good going for trying something new; and also for not stepping on the scale this week!
ReplyDeleteI have completed the first three routines for a total of one hour. I am going to go through the beginners DVD and then go back and do it again. Yesterday I was doing the reclining cobbler's pose and was encouraged to use blankets to support my knees, but my blankets were not tall enough. I needed a LOT of support. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was creepy that they had a pose called the corpse pose so I googled it and they said it was like playing dead for a few minutes. Weird.
I love yoga but unfortunately I'm not very good at it :(
